A fresh peach picked ripe from the tree is one of the most delicious fruits in the world, but the trees are difficult to grow and require full sun in a very well-drained soil. Because we have heavy clay, we plant ours on elevated mounds. They’re self-fertile, and make attractive additions to an edible landscape. Peaches are one of the best fruits to grow from seed, as they produce delicious peaches and are hardier on their own roots, so we’re offering seed-grown peaches this season.
