This is the website of permaculture nut Paul Wheaton, and includes thought-provoking articles and forums on perennial plants and videos on a wide range of sustainable and simple living ideas.
This is the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs’ page on crops for Ontario. The fruits section contains detailed descriptions of recommended varieties, and has a lot of useful information on pollination, disease and pest resistance and hardiness, based on trials by the University of Guelph.
Aster Lane Edibles is a nursery near Ottawa that specializes in perennial edibles and other edible plants, with many excellent selections.
