Daylilies are often considered the perfect ornamental perennial: they’re beautiful, they bloom for long periods and they form a good ground cover for long-term, low-maintenance care. The fact that they’re edible too makes them a prime candidate for any edible landscape. The flowers of some varieties are sweet and crunchy and brighten up any salad, and the unopened flower buds are used in traditional Chinese stir-fries. They can be dried for use in soups and stews in the winter. We carry a number of varieties with a diversity of beautiful colour combinations.
