Product Description
Malva moschata: 3’ high x 2’ wide / full sun to part shade / zone 4
This is a hardy perennial with mucilaginous leaves that can be eaten raw in salads or cooked in soups and stews. The pretty purple flowers are also edible. It is fairly short-lived, but self-sows prolifically. Native to Europe, musk mallow also provides nectar to, and shelter for, beneficial insects.
