Anjou – A popular commercial variety, which produces good quality pears for fresh-eating or preserves, and which store well. These are on OHxF 87 Semi-Dwarf rootstock.
Bartlett – The most highly cultivated pear in Ontario, for good reason; it’s very productive and has delectable flavour. Partially self-fertile. These are on OHxF 97 full-size rootstock.
Bonne Louise de Jersey – Originating in France, this tree produces rich, buttery, red-blushed fruit. Very resistant to scab. These are on OHxF 97 full-size rootstock.
Flemish Beauty – This cold-hardy and productive tree bears sweet, attractive fruit that make this a popular commercial variety. Self-fertile.
