Spring is harvest season for perennial vegetables, in sharp contrast to their annual counterparts. Examples include the familiar asparagus and rhubarb, along with rare and delicious shoot vegetables such as sea kale, caucasian spinach, Solomon’s seal, hosta, and the giant Japanese udo. Join us for our 2019 opening weekend for some free samples of these and other perennial edibles, including tasty perennial salad greens and mini-salad sandwiches!
