Workshop: Designing an Edible Ecosystem (to be beautiful, fruitful, low-maintenance and self-fertile)

September 16, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

$35

Creating a highly diverse edible landscape is all about putting the right plant in the right place.  In this workshop we’ll show you how to incorporate fruit and nut trees, berry bushes, perennial vegetables and salad greens, tubers, vines and edible flowers into a low-maintenance, self-fertile edible landscape using applied ecology and permaculture design.  Workshops include a potluck lunch, an in-depth discussion of garden design theory and a detailed tour (and tasting!) of our demonstration gardens. Bring a dish to share for lunch, a notepad and weather-appropriate clothing.  Workshops take place rain or shine. Call or text or e-mail us to sign up. Workshops are $35/person or free with the purchase of $100 worth of plants.
